Applicable to Businesses and Non-Domestic Activities

This category applies to establishments engaged in commercial activities, including cafes, shops, salons, laundries, offices, clinics, and entertainment venues that offer goods or services. Additionally, any non-domestic activity may be classified under the commercial tariff if designated as such by the relevant Agency.

Domestic Tariff

For Residential Water Use

This category applies to all residential houses and flats where water is used solely for household purposes, such as drinking, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. It is intended for non-commercial, private domestic use.

Charitable Tariff

For Religious and Non-Profit Institutions

This tariff category is designated for places of worship and charitable institutions, including mosques, churches, temples, madrassas, and similar non-profit establishments. It supports the essential water needs of organizations serving religious and community functions.

Industrial Tariff

For Industries & Large-Scale Operations

Industrial tariff applies to consumers processing raw materials into finished products, including service stations, carpet washing centers, commercial, government/semi-government bodies, and corporates — excluding industries with separately prescribed rates.
